Before you start creating a French, it is important to choose the technique you are going to use. The two most common techniques are the painted French and the reverse French.

A painted French uses both gel and gel polish, while the reverse French allows you to choose between builder gel, acrylic gel or acrylic. For both techniques, you will need the appropriate nail products, a gel brush, a fineliner and a UV/LED lamp. For both techniques, a gel polish color is used for the tips of the nails.

If you have never done a French manicure, we recommend that you start with the painted French. The painted French is a slightly simpler technique. In addition, I also advise you to invest in some professional manicure kits to care for nails.
