The right nail polish colors for mixed-race skin
A coral pink or orange-red will highlight the coppery undertones of your skin. Also dare a semi-opaque syrup-effect hairspray, pomegranate or raspberry colour. Avoid: pastel tones such as lilac or sky blue.
The right nail polish colors for golden skin
Orange, apricot, buttercup yellow or fuchsia pink, dare to use vibrant and pepsy colours. Wear them preferably on short and slightly rounded nails. Avoid cool tones, such as brown, blue or gray.
The right nail polish colors for ivory skin
Taupe, purple, dusty rose or silver will work well with the cool undertones of your skin tone. If you have a rather rosy complexion, opt for a pretty candy pink or a peach tone in a satin or iridescent finish. Avoid khakis and greens.
The right nail polish colors for fair skin
Midnight blue, deep green or black red, dark colors contrast with your skin and look very elegant on your hands. Wear them preferably on mid-length nails and for an even more daring look, dare metallic or chrome finishes.
Not a fan of flashy colors? Go for a “nude” shade, such as beige or pale pink, for a neat and chic nail effect. If you have mestizo or ebony skin, opt for a caramel or camel shade instead.
